- Murray GM on Starr's Road held a charity barbeque on August 27th for the Yarmouth SPCA that raised a whopping $285. Thank you to Jeff
and Erica Little and the wonderful Murray GM staff members who supported this event.

The Third Annual Giant Yard Sale held on October 16th at the Plymouth School was a huge success. Hundreds and
hundreds of wonderful yard sale items, bake sale goods, crafts galore, donated rappie pies and chili, a 50/50 draw and a fabulous
donated gift basket raffle, raised over $3,500. A tremendous thank you to our volunteers, our cooks and bakers, members,
staff and all who attended this event. Karen Nickerson was the winnder of $66.50 from the 50/50 draw and Charmaine Muise
won the gift basket. Congratulations!
- 2010 Pet Pics with Santa held on Saturday, December 4th
at the Yarmouth SPCA shelter on the Hardscratch Road. 65 animals came for pictures (62 dogs and 3 cats) with Santa.
This event raised $1,140 with Santa pics, craft sale and bake sale. Thanks to our hard-working staff, volunteers and
everyone for coming out!

5, 2011 - The Yarmouth Farmers Food Basket and Select Nova Scotia Incredible Chowder Lunch, raised over
$4,000 for the Yarmouth SPCA. It was a wonderful day of market vendors, silent auction items and delicious chowder.
Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and supporters why made it happen.
- March Winds Farmer's Market & Adoption Fair - Saturday, March 19th at Beacon Church
Hall included lots of market vendors, a silent auction, 50/50 draw and an adoption fair featuring dogs and cats from the shelter.
The day raised over $1,500 and 2 cats were adopted into their fur-ever homes! The winner of the 50/50 draw was Audrey
Jenkins who won $150. Thanks to our supporters and volunteers for all your hard work. It was a great day and we
look forward to April 16th.
- April Showers Farmer's Market & It's Raining Cats & Dogs
Adoption Fair - Saturday, April 16th at Beacon Church Hall included lots of market vendors, 50/50 draw, rappie pie &
chili sale plus an adoption fair featuring dogs and cats from the shelter. The day raised $2,500 with lots
of interest in our loving cats as well as dpgs. Sawyer and Jack! The winner of the 50/50 draw was Heather Trask who
won $180. Thanks to our supporters and volunteers for all your hard work. It was a great day and the last of our
markets for this season. The three markets have netted our organization almost $7,500. Thanks again everyone!
- 2011 Easter Bunny Pictures, held at the Yarmouth Mall on April 23rd, raised over
$1,200. Thank you to our Easter Bunny, board members and volunteers and most of all, to you, our supporters.
